For me, relegating apps on my phone has been enough to curb my usage of Facebook so that I now only use it on my desktop for a few minutes a week. Even moving Instagram back a page, I might check in daily, but not hourly.

Twitter is my biggest vice but I use it to follow general news and web development conversations so I feel like it's worth the time I give it.

Casey's experience is different to mine where he had to delete the apps completely and for someone who's built their brand around social media I can get why that is the case.

Virgin will be one of the first operators for these new supersonic aircrafts, reminding me of their original bid to purchase Concorde from British Airways.

The Overture by Boom looks very similar to Concorde and will bring supersonic flight. Their FAQs are full of great questions and answers.

With just 12 votes in it, a 2nd referendum is the closest we have to a clear way to sort out this mess.

The first was never legally binding and given how close it was should never have been used to put party ahead of country. But it was.

I would rather the government grew some balls and told any 'leavers' the truth, that this is setting the country back.

I covered the petition while it climbed from around 600,000 to 5 million signatures. Now it sits at 6 million and will be debated in Parliament tomorrow. April 1st. What an apt date. Given the original response to the petition I doubt much will change but with 10% of the country now having signed, it's about time the conversation evolved from 'delivering' the impossible to doing what's best for the country and its citizens. Austerity hasn't worked and neither will Brexit. You don't need to be particularly clever to see that.

It's natural for Facebook's investors to want a return and they put monetisation at the top of their agenda. Curating your newsfeed was, is and will continue to be a nightmare and they compounded it by turning your behaviour into a commodity.

Lawmakers often tell me we have too much power over speech, and frankly I agree. I've come to believe that we shouldn't make so many important decisions about speech on our own

This should not have been a surprise to anyone, let alone Mark Zuckerberg. Lawmakers tell him they have too much power? Why isn't anyone at Facebook telling him that?

A fifth area has been missed here and that's disinformation . Be it politics or vaccinations, the spread of information that cannot be described as anything other than false is so harmful to us all.
